FACE & SCALP SCAR CAMOUFLAGE: WHAT TO EXPECT

Scar camouflage is a gradual process. Immediately after treatment, the area may appear darker, warmer, or more noticeable than the final healed result. Mild redness, tenderness, swelling, tightness, flaking, or light scabbing can occur during the first several days. The color will soften as the skin heals and should not be evaluated until approximately 8–10 weeks after treatment.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

• Wash your hair the morning of your appointment.
• Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, jewelry, or products on the treatment area.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

• Avoid washing your hair for 3 days. Use only the cleanser or cleansing wipes provided for the treated area.
• Do not apply makeup, dry shampoo, hair products, skincare products, or active ingredients near the tattoo for 7 days.
• Do not color or bleach your hair for 3 weeks.
• Avoid picking, scratching, exfoliating, or removing any flaking or scabbing.
• Avoid heavy sweating, swimming, soaking, saunas, and direct sun exposure while the skin is healing.
• Once fully healed, protect the area with broad-spectrum SPF to help preserve your results.

Multiple sessions are typically necessary to build a natural-looking color match gradually. You will receive personalized aftercare instructions based on the location treated and how your skin responds.
